Most designers start curious about user experience and grow into specialists who shape how thousands of people interact with digital products daily.

Junior Designer (Months 1-8)

You'll work closely with senior designers on real client projects, learning our design process and getting hands-on experience with user research. Most new hires spend time understanding how businesses actually use their websites and what makes interfaces genuinely helpful rather than just pretty.

Mid-Level Designer (Years 1-2)

At this stage, you're leading smaller projects and contributing to design strategy discussions. You'll develop expertise in specific areas like mobile interfaces or complex dashboard design, depending on your interests and our client needs.

Senior Designer (Years 2-4)

Senior designers mentor junior team members and often specialize in areas like user research, visual design systems, or client strategy. You'll have significant input on project direction and may lead design for our larger clients.

Design Lead & Beyond

Leadership roles vary based on individual strengths. Some become creative directors, others prefer staying hands-on while mentoring teams. We've had designers start their own studios, move into product management, or become specialists in emerging technologies.

What We're Looking For

Our best team members combine creative thinking with practical problem-solving. Technical skills matter, but curiosity about user behavior and business needs matter more.

UI/UX Designers

Create interfaces for web applications, e-commerce sites, and business dashboards. Experience with Figma, user testing, and responsive design preferred.

Front-End Developers

Bring designs to life using modern CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks. We value clean code and attention to detail in implementation.

Design Researchers

Help us understand user needs through interviews, usability testing, and data analysis. Experience with research methods and client interaction helpful.

Project Coordinators

Manage design projects from concept to launch, working directly with clients and internal teams. Strong communication skills essential.

Initial Application

Send us your resume and a brief note about what type of design work interests you most. Include 2-3 examples of your work with context about the problems you were solving.

Portfolio Review

We'll schedule a 45-minute conversation about your work. We're more interested in your thought process than perfect execution. Bring questions about our projects and team culture.

Design Challenge

A small, paid design exercise that typically takes 3-4 hours. You'll work on a realistic brief similar to actual client projects, then present your approach and reasoning.

Team Meeting

Meet the team you'd work with most closely. This is as much for you to evaluate us as it is for us to get to know you. We'll discuss expectations, growth opportunities, and answer your questions.
